Book talk on "Human Rights After Hitler"

Please join the War Crimes Research Office on Tuesday, September 12 at 12:00 PM at the Washington College of Law (Warren N104) for a discussion with Dan Plesch, Director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, on his new book, Human Rights After Hitler: The Lost History of Prosecuting Axis War Crimes. The book examines thousands of forgotten US and Allied war crimes prosecutions against Nazi leaders and other Axis war criminals based on a popular movement for justice that stretched from Poland to the Pacific. Together with the Nuremberg trials and postwar conventions, these cases provide a great foundation for twenty-first-century prosecutions of grave crimes.

Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP using the Google form :https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdm9bNurrS2yhyW_1FCyrZcLdkvIl0h6rc4eNYqJFtXNyxUqQ/viewform

For any questions about the discussion, please contact warcrimes@wcl.american.edu.
