Join STAND, Bernie, and beyond to end the U.S. role in Yemen atrocities!

For the past three years, the U.S. has given military support to a Saudi Arabia-led coalition to fight an unauthorized war in Yemen, creating the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. For years, our government has provided intelligence, weaponry, and mid-air refueling support to Saudi Arabia, who has used this support to target millions of Yemeni civilians.

We are closer than ever to ending U.S. involvement in this war - but we need your help! Yesterday, Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Mike Lee (R-UT), and Chris Murphy (D-CT) introduced S.J.Res. 54, a resolution to end U.S. support for this unconstitutional war. The resolution invokes the 1973 War Powers Resolution, guaranteeing a vote on the Senate floor in a matter of days.

STAND, in coalition with a bipartisan group of organizations including Indivisible, Common Defense, Win Without War, the Yemen Peace Project, and the Campaign for Liberty, is ready to stop America’s role in this man-made crisis - but rapid response is crucial.

We only have a short period to ensure that our Senators are on board with this resolution, so today, we are urging you to contact your representatives. Sign our petition to ask your senators to co-sponsor and vote yes on this vital resolution to end the U.S. role in Yemen’s suffering.

Thank you for standing up for Yemeni civilians. In solidarity, Savannah Wooten Student Director University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill '17 P.S. Ready to do more?
