Dr. Gregory Stanton receives 2020 Charles Malik Human Rights Award from In Defense of Christians

In a live digital summit hosted by In Defense of Christians (IDC), Founding President of Genocide Watch, Dr. Gregory Stanton received the 2020 Charles Malik Human Rights Award. IDC recognized Dr. Stanton for his tireless work in genocide prevention, specifically for his work with Christians being persecuted worldwide.

"Christians in the Middle East and Africa are still persecuted today, driven out of their homes in a plan by ISIS, from Syria by the Neo-Ottoman and Russian invasion, and massacred in Nigeria by Boko Haram and Fulani jihadists. Yet, America and Europe seem powerless to stop this genocidal persecution... We appease the dictators that run Russia, China, North Korea, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. We sell the Saudis and Emirates the laser-guided bombs they use to commit war crimes in Yemen. We deny that we are complicit in these war crimes, but we have aided and abetted them." -Dr. Gregory Stanton

You can view the entire awards ceremony on YouTube. Dr. Stanton's award presentation begins at 1:40:21 and ends at 1:47:42.
