Genocide Watch staff have published the tenth Timestream in a series of critical genocides in the world.
This Timestream covers the violence committed by Boko Haram through July 2020. Since 2009, Boko Haram has waged a violent insurgency against the Nigerian government. In that time, the Islamist group has killed 27,000 people, making them the deadliest terrorist organization in the world. The violence currently shows no signs of slowing. Boko Haram's genocidal ideology is now spreading across West Africa.
