Timestream: Srebrenica Genocide

Genocide Watch staff have published the fourteenth Timestream in a series of critical genocides in the world.

This Timestream reflects on the genocide committed by Bosnian Serb Forces (VRS) during the Bosnian War (1992-1995) in the UN safe area of Srebrenica. More than 8,000 Muslim men and boys were killed during the week of July 11, 1995. Though the main perpetrators of the Srebrenica Genocide have been prosecuted, many Bosnian Serbs continue to celebrate these war criminals while denying the genocide. In Bosnia-Herzegovina, ethnic tensions remain between Bosnian Serbs and Bosniaks (Muslims).
