Details
During the 1990's war over Nagorno-Karabakh, thousands of Azerbaijanis were violently expelled from Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh. In 1992, 300-500 Azerbaijani villagers were killed in the village of Khojaly -- an event both the Armenian and Artsakh government deny.
