Launch of the Seychelles National Action Plan on Security

WHAT: Official Launch of the Seychelles National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security 2026–2030 and Capacity Building Workshop on Women, Peace and Security
The purpose of the two-day programme is to officially launch the Seychelles National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security 2026–2030, celebrate Seychelles’ contribution to the advancement of the WPS Agenda in Africa, and strengthen national capacity and political commitment for its effective implementation.
The adoption of its first National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security represents an important milestone for the Republic of Seychelles and for the advancement of the WPS Agenda in Africa. With the adoption of its NAP, Seychelles will become the 38th AU Member State to adopt a National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security, further contributing to the growing momentum towards the nationalization and localization of the WPS Agenda across the continent.
